Sasha Farber Says Ex Was ‘Uncomfortable’ With Him Working With Emma Slater

Nearly a year after finalizing divorce from fellow Dancing With The Stars professional Emma Slater, Sasha Farber has shed light on how working with his ex-wife has been a struggle in the past. Apparently, one of his ex girlfriends felt ‘uncomfortable’ with the pair working together post divorce.
Sasha Farber Admits Ex-Girlfriend Was ‘Uncomfortable’ With Him Working With His Ex Wife
During a recent interview with E News’ The Rundown, Farber was asked about his relationship with Slater. Within the interview, he admitted that they’re “still close” as well as “friends.” It’s clear that the divorce has been mature, since Farber clearly wishes her well and is thankful for their time together.
Although the pair is amicably divorced, the professional dancer admits that new girlfriends find it weird that they still work together. He almost immediately revealed that he’s had a girlfriend in the past who was uncomfortable with the situation.
“I explained to them like there’s nothing that would ever happen there,” he said “Do we want good things for each other, yeah… I don’t look at her anymore like she’s someone who I was married to, I look at her like a friend.”

Farber even went on to admit that the hurt and pain have passed and all he can do now is wish “them” luck. The interviewer then asked Faber to clarify that “them” referenced Slater and her new boyfriend Alan Bersten.
“We’re not, not friends,” Farber said when asked if he’s friends with Bersten.
Farber Recently Showed Support for Bersten
Following Dancing With The Stars semifinals, Farber was seen proud in Slater’s comment section. The post’s caption, shared in honor of Bersten, reads “My boyfriend is a finalist. Again.”
“What a pure champion. I’m so proud of you Alan Bersten. And im SO PROUD OF YOU Elaine,” Slater wrote. “I have a kiss for you also btw. congratulations you both, you BOTH deserve it so so much. Team Elaine!”
The post itself features a video of her kissing Bersten in the ballroom, as well as photos of their passionate kiss, and another image of her and Elaine Hendrix.
Fans were quick to notice Farber showing his support of Bersten in the comment section. Although short, the professional dancer commented “Congrats guys.”
Bersten, on the other hand commented under the post writing “I love you baby” to Slater.
