As Ryan Seacrest prepares to leave Live with Kelly and Ryan, some fans are disappointed that the show is airing pre-recorded episodes. Since this is Seacrest’s final week on the talk show, they’re hoping his farewell episode will be live.
Ryan Seacrest Fans Complain About Pre-Recorded Episodes
Earlier this week, Seacrest posted a series of photos from a recent episode of Live in which he tried out some cooking. Fans in the comments pointed out that the show has been airing a lot of pre-taped episodes lately, and they hope that changes later this week.
“Why isn’t the show live anymore? I hope your send off is better than pre recorded shows,” wrote one commenter. “You deserve a big celebration! We’ll miss you Ryan but wish you the very best in life!”
Another fan asked, “Why is the show still doing pre recorded it’s the 3rd week now and this is Ryan’s last week he will be so missed.”
Seacrest announced back in February that he would be leaving Live with Kelly and Ryan after six years as a co-host alongside Kelly Ripa. He’ll be replaced by Ripa’s husband and frequent guest host Mark Consuelos.

This Friday Is Seacrest’s Last Day on the Show
Friday, April 14, will mark Seacrest’s last day as a host of Live. His co-host Kelly Ripa recently teased to E! News that there are “a lot of surprises” in store for his final days on the show this week.
“We initially thought that we would do seven days of roasting Ryan, but we’re not going to completely roast him,” Ripa said. “I can’t tell you, but we have great surprises.”
One way Live has been saying farewell to Seacrest is by welcoming various chefs onto the show to prepare some of his favorite foods. On Tuesday, the hosts joined Eric Ripert to make some fondue.
As Seacrest joked in his Instagram post from earlier this week, “After 6 years on the show, I still haven’t figured out how to operate our food processor.”
But is the show live or prerecorded on Friday April 14th?
