RuPaul Charles Releases Newest Album Black Butta
Ahead of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 premiere, RuPaul Charles released the complete music collection. Black Butta follows her 14th album, Mamaru, which gave rise to “Just What They Want,” “Catwalk,” and eight others.
Fans have been anticipating Black Butta since November. Last year, RuPaul teased fans about the overall vibe of the album when she put out its two lead singles, “Star Baby” and “Show Me That You Festive.”
Featuring musicians Skeltal Ki and Eric Kupper, Black Butta consists of 10 glamorously energetic tracks. Among them are “Cake & Candy” and “Pink Limousine.” The album is available in various audio-streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Fans are Loving this Release
Recently, RuPaul posted a video on Instagram inviting her followers to stream Black Butta. Amazingly, fans responded with enthusiasm and told her that they have been listening to the album since its release. Several others mentioned their favorite songs in the collection.
“Suga Daddy and Courage to Love on repeat,” one person commented.
One fan commented that Black Butta is a no-skip album while another said that the vibe of the same is just right.
“Mama, i already listening a hundred times, but i go play this one more time,” a user wrote.
Indeed, RuPaul did a great job in making Black Butta a goofy yet spirited album. First-time listeners might not immediately buy it, but it surely is worth a second try. For avid fans, this album is no less than wonderful, totally a new bop while watching Drag Race season 15.
