Ready to Get ‘Starstruck’? How to Audition for Adam Lambert’s New Show

Adam Lambert’s ITV series Starstruck is currently casting singers to perform on the competition show. The show premiered earlier this month and now Lambert and his team of judges are looking for talented singers to appear on future episodes.
The Idol alum directed his followers to register if they do believe that they have what it takes to become a pop superstar. Fans can visit StarstruckTV.com if they are hoping to try out for the singing competition.
Starstruck is a 2022 update from the hit 90s show, Stars in Their Eyes. The singing competition show’s twist of grouping together superfans of certain artists and giving them a makeover to become a cover band has set the reality show apart.
Each week, four teams made up of three ordinary members of the public transform into some of the world’s biggest music icons. Singers such as Freddie Mercury, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande are all idolized on the show where one contestant will win the £50,000 prize.
Lambert is joined by fellow judges Sheridan Smith, Jason Manford, as well as Beverley Knight. Together the judges choose their favorite team. The team then goes on to sing against each other. The winner is sent to the finals in hopes of winning the cash prize.

Adam Lambert on ‘Starstruck’
Don’t let Starstruck confuse you with another show that Lambert judges. Clash of the Cover Bands is another singing competition show that has contestants covering popular artists. The difference is that Starstruck forms the cover bands on the show. Performers on Clash of the Cover Bands are already an established band.
Lambert is one of the best choices to host shows that allow contestants to cover major artists. After his American Idol days the singer was offered an opportunity of a lifetime when the legendary band Queen asked him to be their frontman. Lambert had big shoes to fill seeing as though the late Freddie Mercury was the rock band’s original frontman. Lambert has been with the group since 2012. The band recently released Live Around The World, their debut live album together, in October of 2020.
