Katy Perry has made it quite obvious that this is her world and we’re all just living in it from those looks. She is by far the most fashionable judge to ever be on television, sorry Heidi Klum. Perry comes on to American Idol with some of the most bizarre costumes, but always pulls them off. I cannot wait to see the outfits she brings to the upcoming American Idol season!
What We Know About American Idol Season 20
This winter, American Idol will return for its fifth season on ABC. This longtime singing show originally gained popularity on FOX where Simon Cowell was a celebrity judge. Luckily, the series has had enough loyal fans to continue on in 2021.
If Idol follows its normal schedule, the show should premiere on Sunday, February 13, 2022. On August 3, ABC confirmed that the celebrity panel we all know and love will be returning to the show. Ryan Seacrest will host the series alongside the returning judge trio, Luke Bryan, Perry, and Lionel Richie.
As of right now, first round auditions for American Idol have officially concluded. Anyone who auditioned for the series previously should expect to hear back from producers, if they haven’t already. Filming seems to have begun, so we can expect more great behind the scenes footage from our favorite judges as they get to work selecting this year’s winner. Soon enough we’ll have our next Idol on our hands.
