Opera Singer Covers ‘BGT’ Judges in Spaghetti in Early Release Clip
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Britain’s Got Talent returns this weekend for a new episode of Series 17, and the show has shared an early release clip featuring an opera singer named Natalie Choquette. Her audition left judges Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli covered in spaghetti.
BGT Judges Covered in Spaghetti During Audition
The clip starts in the middle of the act, so we don’t get any background on Natalie. We simply see her digging into a plate of spaghetti as she sings opera. The judges are sitting at the table with her while she performs.
As she hits a high note, Natalie puts a large forkful of pasta into her mouth. She then grabs a handful of the spaghetti and flings it onto Simon Cowell’s face. Three waiters then emerge with pots of the spaghetti, prompting Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon to run away.
Bruno Tonioli isn’t fast enough, and he ends up with a pot of spaghetti poured over his head — thankfully without sauce. But that’s not the end of it. To top everything off, a rain of parmesan cheese comes down from the ceiling to cover them.

Will There Be Another Golden Buzzer This Week?
This season, the judges are once again playing fast and loose with the rules of the Golden Buzzer. Last week, Amanda Holden hit her second Golden Buzzer of the season for Japanese performer Nabe, who did impressions with his hair.
In fact, it was reported earlier this year that most of the judging panel hit the Golden Buzzer twice this season. Even two of the judges’ kids apparently got in on the fun and hit the Golden Buzzer for an act. So we wouldn’t be surprised if we see another one this weekend.
What do you think? Should the rules be more rigid about how many acts can receive the honor? Do you enjoy seeing the judges hit the Golden Buzzer more than once? Let us know in the comments below, and if you’re in the UK, tune in on Saturday night to see the new episode of BGT on ITV1, ITVX, and STV.
