Melora Hardin Continues to Dominate Disney Week with First 10 of ‘DWTS’ Season 30

Actress Melora Hardin is absolutely destroying the dance floor this season. She and partner Artem Chigvintsev have progressively improved each week earning the first 9 of the season and now the first 10 of the season during Disney Villains night.
“From Len…a 10!”
Melora and Artem danced to “Mother Knows Best” from Tangled. Since learning two dances in one week wasn’t tough enough, Melora also sang the song to which they danced. Even judge Derek Hough didn’t realize Melora was the singer on the pre-recorded track since she’s apparently amazing at everything she does.
The judges all agreed this was, once again, one of the best dances of the night. Carrie Ann Inaba called the routine amazing and theatrical before selecting a small detail to critique (her theme of the night.) Len Goodman wasn’t having it. He shamed Inaba for just picking out something for the sake of having something to say, and he really spoke for us all there.
“That had wit, it had charm, it was truly delightful,” Goodman said before awarding the first 10 score of the season.
Melora Hardin Becomes Season 30 Frontrunner
Last night, Melora and Artem earned the first 9s of the season when they scored 36 out of 40 for their Disney Heroes dance. They earned 9s across the board for their high-energy Quickstep to “I Wanna Be Like You” from The Jungle Book.
The two stayed atop the leaderboard all night, clearly in no danger of being eliminated this week.
Artem’s wife Nikki Bella, who he met on Dancing with the Stars, tweeted her support to the dazzling pair:
“First 10 of the season!!! They were SO incredible!! So entertaining! Melora and Artem shined!!!”
Next week in the ballroom is a tribute to Grease. The pairs will each dance to one of the iconic songs from the hit movie.
