Who is the Panther? ‘The Masked Singer’ Prediction & Clues!

Every new season of The Masked Singer comes with its fair share of twists and turns, but season 8 is going to the extreme! More contestants than ever, double eliminations every week…it’s been pure chaos. And we’re here for it!
Adding to the chaos was the Panther, dressed in an elaborate patterned suit and cape. It’s giving Leopard vibes, so I love that Panther is a good singer to back up the look! But who is the celebrity under the mask? Let’s see what we know so far.
Clues on The Masked Singer Season 8
The only clue we got about the Panther’s identity before his appearance on the show was from Instagram. On The Masked Singer‘s page, they posted a “mask-ray,” revealing an entire moon under the Panther’s costume.
During “Vegas Night,” we got his first set of real clues. When he walked out, we got the clue that the Panther is a “weekend warrior” and everyone noted how tall he was. Panther says one of the biggest lessons he’s learned is to “always bet on yourself.” We see him walking through a city with a “DVD” sign behind him. Right from the job, he was “at the top of [his] game.” One of the Men in Black is shown spinning a basketball on his finger, then the shot jumps to a picture of Beyonce.
Until one day, people thought he was dead! He had the unique opportunity to “attend his own funeral” and “see how others would remember” him. Then, the Men in Black hold up signs that say “DEF” and “ENSE.” Panther brushes off an old TV, entering a VHS that says “PANTHER’S CREED” on it, and mentioned that he “started back at one.” He claims to be a scholar, a son, a lover, and a leader.
Popular Guesses for The Masked Singer Panther
After his clues and performance, the panelists had plenty of ideas about who the Panther could be. Ken guessed Andre Drummond or Sam Richardson. Jenny thought he could be Lamar Odom. And Nicole predicted Billy Porter was under the mask.
Despite the lack of clues, fans online made their best guesses. Some of the predictions include Bruno Mars, Frank Ocean, Diego Luna, or Oscar Isaac. Billy Porter, RuPaul, and Montell Jordan were all popular predictions too!

The “This is How We Do It” singer rocked that stage and we were sad to see him go! But you can’t deny that the Harp earned her spot in the next round with that cover of “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston. She is the clear frontrunner going into the next episode.
