Louis Tomlinson showed support for his One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik at his recent concert in Los Angeles. Malik gave Tomlinson a shoutout during the show, which was part of his Stairway to the Sky Tour.
Louis Tomlinson Attends Zayn Malik’s Concert
According to People, Malik performed a show at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. During the show, Malik shared that Tomlinson was in attendance at the concert, prompting screams from the crowd.
“Tonight is kind of special. An old friend of mine is here supporting me tonight,” Malik said in a video posted to social media. “He’s sitting somewhere here. I don’t want to give his location away, but Louis is here tonight.”
Another clip shows Tomlinson standing on the balcony. He can be seen patting his heart after Malik points to him. Malik reportedly dedicated two songs to Tomlinson near the end of the concert — “What I Am” and “Alienated.”
The former bandmates appear to have left the venue together after the show, as they could be seen getting into a car together in another video shared by a fan.

The Bandmates Were Last Seen Together at Liam Payne’s Funeral
The last time Malik and Tomlinson were seen in public together was in November, when they attended the funeral of their bandmate Liam Payne, who died the previous month. Fellow One Direction bandmates Harry Styles and Niall Horan were also in attendance.
Following news of Payne’s death, Malik postponed the U.S. leg of his tour. The dates were originally supposed to kick off in October, but they were rescheduled to begin in January. His Stairway to the Sky Tour follows the release of his fourth solo album, Room Under the Stairs.
According to People, Malik’s tour features a nightly tribute to Payne. The U.S. leg will run through February 4 in San Francisco.
