Kristin Chenoweth Makes ‘American Idol’ Alum Jax’s Dream Come True by Singing Together

Actress and former The Voice advisor Kristin Chenoweth made American Idol alum Jax’s dream come true. Jax auditioned for a role as Glinda on the Broadway musical Wicked when she was young got to sing a duet with the original actress for the role.

The American Idol alum has accumulated millions of followers on her TikTok account due in large part to her entertaining collaborations with other singers. In a recent TikTok post, Jax is singing with the hit song “Popular,” from Wicked with Chenoweth.
The short clip starts with a young ten year old Jax singing the same song while doing an audition for Wicked. Afterward, a grown up Jax is singing with the original Glinda actress performing the song in a playful TikTok video.
“My 10-year-old theater kid self would never believe I’d get to sing “Popular,” with the original Glinda when I was older.” Jax said.
Fans praised Jax and some even wondered how she’s able to get all of these singers into her home for collaborations. Jax jokingly revealed the secret to getting the celebrities and said that she spams their DMs with multiple messages until they agree.

Jax is Now Engaged to Her Longtime Boyfriend
The singer-songwriter was given the exciting opportunity to perform live New Year’s Rockin Eve 2023, which was hosted by Ryan Seacrest. It was already exciting, but for Jax, the New Year of 2023 got even better.
She declared her engagement to photographer and video director Braverijah Gregg. He has done a lot of work with Jax, including taking pictures for her music videos and album art. Jax and her now-fiancé appearance alongside co-host Liza Koshy and K-pop star J-Hope.
“Everybody’s celebrating here, and Jax you got a lot to celebrate girl, show me the candy.” Koshy said.
At the same time, Jax raised her left hand up, showing off the new ring. The action undoubtedly confirmed her engagement to Gregg. Jax also posted a video showing how Gregg proposed to her inside a room filled with rose petals and candles.
