Kelly Clarkson Tells Hilariously TMI Number Two Story
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Kelly Clarkson is known for being candid, and a recent interview on her talk show might contain her most candid moment yet. Some might even call it too much information.
During an interview with country singer Clint Black, The Voice coach shared an hilarious incident from one of her past concerts involving the need to use the bathroom during a performance.
Kelly Clarkson Shares TMI Concert Story
During her interview with Black, Clarkson admitted that she has “no filter, in the best of ways.” She said she’s “open to talk about everything,” and some people aren’t ready for that.

Black, who is hosting a new show called Talking in Circles, said country star Sara Evans shared a story about peeing on stage in a recent interview. This prompted Clarkson to share a bathroom-related concert story of her own.
“I’ll tell you right now, there was one time it wasn’t pee, my friend,” Clarkson told Clint. “I got some kind of wrecked up from some kind of food.”
Clarkson said she was performing in an arena when it happened.
“I had to run back to my quick-change,” she said. “I grabbed this poor trash can, and boy, I destroyed it. It was bad. It was bad, Clint.”
Clarkson’s Other Bathroom-Related Stories
“I shouldn’t tell this story, but like I said … I don’t have a filter,” Clarkson admitted while telling Clint her story. “We might have to edit this out.”
Fans in the comments of Clarkson’s YouTube video thought the singer’s story might relate to something she previously called “Code: Germany,” when she had food poisoning during a show. However, she said she was performing in a club when it happened, and she seemed to make it to a bathroom that time.

Weirdly enough, Clarkson has actually shared another embarrassing bathroom-related story. Last year, at the start of the pandemic, the star was living in Montana with her family when the pipes froze in their cabin.
“I just used my toddler’s potty,” Kelly tweeted. “And just like that I have no pride or shame! Each day brings something I thought I’d never do hahahaha.”
Clarkson is currently coaching her seventh season of The Voice, airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
