In December, Erbert was hospitalized and diagnosed with a cranial hematoma. She had to undergo an emergency craniectomy and later a cranioplasty. The Symphony of Dance tour was postponed as the couple dealt with this unexpected health issue.
In February, Hough announced rescheduled dates for the continuation of the tour, which is set to kick off on April 14. At first, Erbert was not announced as being part of the tour. However, as of this week, she’s ready to return to the stage.
“Hi everyone, I am so excited to announce that I have been cleared to rejoin the Symphony of Dance tour and I will be dancing when the tour begins on April 14 in Melbourne, Florida,” Erbert shared in a video announcement on Friday’s Good Morning America.
Hough appeared in the video with Erbert, sharing, “We cannot wait to dance together again on stage and be back with all of our fans and thank them.”

“What a blessing (and surprise) it is to be able to be back on stage dancing with my love after such a crazy past four months,” Erbert wrote to caption the post, adding that her recovery “has been nothing short of extraordinary.”
She thanked the doctors “who have supported me in my decision to dance again,” noting that a team of specialists has been put together “to assure that my health and safety is priority.”
