Australian host Grant Denyer got candid on a radio show recently about a sex tape he once recorded with a former love. He has a tremendous fear that the tape could be leaked at any time and ruin his career.
Grant Denyer Got Emotional Talking About his Anxiety Over Sex Tape
When he was just 18 years old, the Dancing With The Stars host filmed a sexual encounter with a woman that was much older than him. While he insisted that the encounter was entirely consensual, he knows that she is out there somewhere with that video. The thing that worries him the most is that she can sell the tape to the media which will put him in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. He had borrowed a camera from the media department of the school he attended at the time but wonders where the video could be now.

In an appearance on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, he said “I fear I left it in someone else’s possession. You know, relationships can not always end that amicably and you get nervous about their intentions.” This was a very raw and real moment where he got emotional thinking about this. It’s clear that it gives him a bit of anxiety and there’s definitely other celebrities out there can definitely relate to this fear.
This Isn’t The First Time He’s Spoken Publicly About This Tape
During a guest appearance on 2Day FM in May 2019, Denyer confirmed that there is a tape out there of him having sex. He gave details about how he told his school’s film department that he was making a short film. But really, he wanted to use the tripod to be able to put the camera in one position so that he and his partner could film the video. He could not remember if he had erased the footage before he returned the camera to the film department. That’s where a lot of his nervousness stems from, the fact that anyone could’ve picked up that same camera and found the footage. Who knows if anyone still has it after all these years.
He has been married to his wife Cheryl, a television producer since 2010 and the pair share two children together. He is a big family man and loves to post videos of his family on social media.
Denyer has not had such an easy career after several of his shows have been axed due to poor ratings. He also had a series of health issues that hindered his stint as a race car driver.

Denyer is clearly not taking the sex tape situation lightly and really hopes that it does not ever get leaked. But even if it does, there have been so many other celebrities that have come back from sex tape scandals including superstar Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton.
