Golden Buzzer Act Dustin’s Dojo to Appear on ‘AGT: All-Stars’

Dustin's Dojo on America's Got Talent, Dustin's Dojo confirms AGT All Stars

Dustin’s Dojo, the first act to receive a Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent, will be returning to the show for the upcoming spin-off AGT: All-Stars. Their appearance was confirmed on Instagram this week.

Dustin’s Dojo to Appear on AGT: All-Stars

Recently, Dustin’s Dojo posted a photo on Instagram showing what appears to be a dressing room door at AGT labeled with their name. The post also includes a photo of cardboard boxes stacked next to garbage cans, which is possibly part of their act.

They captioned the photo, “Guess who’s back!” Dustin’s Dojo was one of the 25 acts we hoped to see take the stage again for All-Stars, so it’s exciting to see their involvement confirmed.

In case you don’t know, Dustin’s Dojo appeared on AGT in Season 9. The karate act was performed by friends Dustin and Terry. They received the show’s very first Golden Buzzer from Howard Stern. However, in this season, the Golden Buzzer didn’t send an act to the live shows. It simply sent them to the next round regardless of the other judges’ votes.

Because of this, Dustin’s Dojo may not seem like your typical Golden Buzzer act. Although Dustin made himself out to be a “karate expert,” he clearly wasn’t. Heidi Klum and Mel B both buzzed their audition, while Stern and Howie Mandel thought it was hilarious.

The Spin-Off Is Currently Filming

America’s Got Talent has previously aired two seasons of The Champions, which featured past acts from AGT and other Got Talent shows competing against each other. AGT: All-Stars seems to be a similar concept.

The show is currently filming, and is expected to premiere next year. Terry Crews will host the show, and the judging panel will feature Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell. Unfortunately, regular AGT judge Sofia Vergara will not appear.

We don’t know much more about the show as of right now, but hopefully NBC will share further information as time goes on. We can’t wait to find out everyone who’s returning to the AGT stage.
