The Masked Singer returned to FOX for it’s next step in the competition. Now that fans have been able to see each singer, fans were able to see another performance, as well as a wildcard, and double elimination! Here’s everything you may have missed on January 21’s episode.

More Clues Are Given For Celebrities

The first singer of the night was none other than Snow Cone. Ahead of her performance of “Stronger” by Britney Spears, it was revealed that she’s previously worked with David Foster, and released an album that didn’t gain traction until later. The additional clue was “life has been taken from me so many times but I keep getting back up for my family and my kids.”

The next singer was Scarab, who also revealed more on the stage ahead of singing “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. Scarab’s clue package revealed that she had an extremely supportive father, especially for her big awards. Unfortunately, her father passed away before a big event, and she had a hard time keeping a smile on her face for the event. Her additional clue was stating that she was “baking under pressure to get where I am.”

Following Scarab was Handyman. Handyman, who performed “Can I Kick It” by A Tribe Called Quest, was revealed to have stood out, but not on purpose. Apparently, his voice comes from a “painful accident” that changed his voice overnight. The additional clue was candy wrappers, which lead panelists to guess he’s a rapper.

The First Wildcard of The Season is Revealed!

The next singer of the night was Pugcasso, who sang “Fake Plastic Trees” by RadioHead. Before his song, it was revealed that he met his lover in a small town and they were together until he moved away for tour. Pugcasso’s additional clue was a hawaiian shirt, as well as a mention of liking the beach and cameras.

The first wildcard of the season has officially been revealed as Crane. Ahead of singing “It’s Not Right But It’s Ok” by Whitney Houston, fans learned that this celebrity was famous in the 90s and focuses that energy in everything she does. She’s worked with Janet Jackson and Michelle Obama, and she always goes for gold when she gets the chance. Her additional clue was a pair of pink sparkly ballet shoes. She acknowledged she’s “not one to shy away from center stage.”

Taraji P Henson Becomes The Most Decorated Star EVER on The Masked Singer

Tonight’s episode quickly came to an end with an exciting double elimination. The first singer unmasked during the third episode of The Masked Singer was Handyman. Ahead of the reveal, panelists confirmed their guesses of Chuck D (Jenny McCarthy), Mr. T (Ken Jeong), or Ice T (Rita Ora), or Tone Loc (Robin Thicke). Ultimately, Thicke has guessed right twice in this season so far, since it was Tone Loc.

The second singer unmasked was Scarab, who is officially the most decorated celebrity ever on the show. Ahead of the unmasking, panelists confirmed their guesses of Regina King (Robin Thicke), Angela Bassett (Jenny McCarthy), Cynthia Erivo (Ken Jeong), or Taraji P Henson (Rita Ora). The Scarab was unmasked as Taraji P Henson, meaning Rita Ora has officially guessed one singer correctly.

The Masked Singer returns to FOX on Wednesday, January 28 at 8PM ET. Be sure to tune in so you don’t miss a minute of the compeition. Are you watching this season of The Masked Singer? Tell us on X!
