‘DWTS’ to Reveal Celebrity Contestant on ‘GMA’ — Fans Think They’ve Already Figured It Out

Dancing With The Stars is back this fall. Even though the premiere is far away, the DWTS has already begun revealing their celebrity cast. In case you missed it, Robert Irwin was the first announced celebrity cast member.
Dancing With The Stars to Announce Second Celebrity Cast Member
This week, Dancing With The Stars is set to announce their second celebrity cast member for the upcoming Season 34. The reveal will take place on Good Morning America on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Good Morning America airs on ABC at 7AM ET to 9AM ET.
Although no clues have yet to be given about the celebrity cast members, fans are convinced they know who will be announced on the talk show. Many DWTS fans think that, for the first time, there could be a cast member from Hulu original reality series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Fans are convinced a cast member from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will be on the series due to the show’s popularity amid its second season premiere. According to Variety, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season two premiered with 5 million views in 5 days.
If this is the case, fans believe that the announcement will be either Taylor Frankie Paul or Jen Affleck. Both women were more or less the center of the show’s second season. Taylor Frankie Paul, known for the infamous swinging scandal that started the reality series, would be an obvious answer for the competition series, since she’s the center of MomTok. On the other hand, Jen Affleck has attended the show last season, and did a private dance lesson with pro Ezra Sosa.

DWTS Insider Claims Reveal Isn’t From The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Ahead of the announcement an unknown DWTS insider has taken to Reddit to share hints about the upcoming celebrity reveal. Pop culture insider Kristyn Burtt shared all the information regarding the insider’s clues.
During Burtt’s first TikTok, she showed the insider’s Reddit comment, stating “This weeks reveal is no one from Mormon or Bravo. She is an influencer.” The insider included a blonde woman emoji and a yellow heart in their statement. The insider is arguing that they are legitimate because they released last season’s celebrity cast early, without getting a single person wrong (aside from Jenn Tran who was added to the roster last minute).
A fan then went on to ask if the celebrity is TikToker Alix Earle. The insider then responded asking for their reasoning, following up with a green check mark. Burtt seems to think it would make sense for Earle to do the show due to her career and stage of the career she’s in.

In a separate video, Burtt talked about why Earle might be on the show and why she’s a good fit. The reasons Burtt thinks Earle will join this season are, Earle recently put her podcast on hold, is in a relationship with NFL player Braxton Berrios, is an entrepreneur, and has even modeled for Sports Illustrated Swim. Burtt laid it out, explaining that Millennial and Gen Z both know who Alix Earle is, but older generations may not. Going on Dancing With The Stars would be a way for Earle to increase her popularity to another generation.
Later in the video, Burtt admitted that there most likely will be a cast member from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives joining the show this year. She’s predicting this directly due to the show’s second season bringing in five million views in five days.
At the end of the video Burtt admitted that Dancing With The Stars may be trying to trip fans up. Many believe that Thursday’s announcement will be a female since Robert Irwin was announced as the first celebrity of the season, but they could announce another male cast member.
