Following this week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, Season 33 winner Joey Graziadei hosted another installment of the show’s official podcast. During the show, he spoke to one of this week’s eliminated couples, Baron Davis and Britt Stewart.

Baron Davis, Britt Stewart React to DWTS Elimination

During Tuesday’s second week of competition for DWTS Season 34, Corey Feldman and Baron Davis were the first two celebrities to be eliminated, alongside their partners Jenna Johnson and Britt Stewart. After the show, Davis and Stewart sat down with Joey Graziadei to reflect on their time competing.

The former NBA player explained that he viewed the show as “a competition with myself,” adding that he was “in it to have fun, learn from a great coach and partner.” He admitted that he would be “embarrassed for me” as a viewer, explaining that he overcame that embarrassment to compete in the ballroom.

“I’m not afraid to perform. I’m not afraid to just kind of put myself out there and show that I can be fun and happy at the same time,” Davis said. “This dancing brought it out of me. Britt brought it out. She brought a lot of positive juju into my world.”

However, he added that he was “super disappointed” they didn’t get to continue in the competition. Stewart told her partner that he should feel “incredibly proud of what you were able to accomplish,” even as she agreed that their time on the show was “cut short.”

Alyson Hannigan, Joey Graziadei Talk About Missing the Show

During this week’s podcast, Graziadei also spoke to Season 32 finalist Alyson Hannigan, who called her time on the show “such a profound experience.” She emphasized the sense of community among those involved in the show.

Hannigan and Graziadei bonded over how much they miss competing on DWTS, with Hannigan joking that “there should be a support club afterwards.” Graziadei agreed, saying “there’s withdrawal” after the show.

“Maybe we could try to get a pro to come in and just do, like, line dancing or something,” Hannigan suggested, as Graziadei encouraged their fellow former contestants to “come join us.”
