America’s Got Talent has shared an early release audition from next week’s new episode of Season 18, featuring a creepy dance group called Atai Show. Their performance freaked out the judges and audience, although it had a funny ending.

Dance Group Scares the Judges in AGT Early Release

“Remember Adem Show? Meet Atai Show!” AGT wrote in the description of the new early release video. Adem Show was an act from Season 14, featuring dancers from Kyrgyzstan. They combined robotic dance moves with contortion.

Atai Show (also founded by Adem’s Atai Omurzakov) does something very similar. For their audition, four dancers arrived on stage in creepy outfits that made it look like they were covered in blood. They all wore masks covering their eyes.

The dancers proceeded to show off some freaky contortion moves, accompanied by some disturbing sound effects. The performance had the audience gasping, and the judges in shock. Sofia Vergara especially couldn’t contain her horror at the dancers’ movements.

However, the performance took a funny turn toward the end, as the sound of “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by the Backstreet Boys filled the auditorium. The group ended up getting a standing ovation from the entire judging panel for their audition.

There Are Two Golden Buzzers Left This Season

We’ve already seen several episodes’ worth of amazing auditions on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent. We’ve also seen five acts earn the Golden Buzzer, including the show’s first-ever audience-chosen Golden Buzzer.

However, there are still at least two Golden Buzzers left to be pressed this season. One of those belongs to Sofia Vergara, who is the only judge who hasn’t pressed it yet. We’re also expecting a group Golden Buzzer, which has become a tradition in recent seasons.

Live shows for Season 18 are set to begin on August 22, as the show moves to two nights a week. We still have quite a few auditions to get through before then. Be sure to tune in to a new episode Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC.
