Country music sensation Jimmie Allen finds himself at the center of a second sexual assault lawsuit. The new accuser, alleges that Allen sexually assaulted her and secretly recorded their encounter without her consent. This follows a previous accusation of rape and repeated sexual abuse by another woman who had worked on Allen’s former management team.
Jimmie Allen Faces Second Lawsuit
The new accuser, known only as “Jane Doe 2,” alleges that she had a chance encounter with Allen on a plane last year. Following their initial meeting, Allen allegedly pursued her, leading to daily communication over the phone. Their conversations ultimately culminated in a planned meeting in Las Vegas, where the alleged assault occurred.
During the encounter, Jane Doe 2 made a distressing discovery: Allen had secretly recorded their intimate moments without her knowledge or consent. Shocked and upset, she promptly left the hotel room, taking the phone with her. Upon returning home, she turned the phone over to the authorities and filed a police report.
Jane Doe 2’s attorney, Elizabeth Fegan of FeganScott, has confirmed that her client has been in contact with detectives and is awaiting the fulfillment of her records request from the police department regarding the ongoing investigation. The lawsuit filed by Jane Doe 2 seeks legal action against Allen for battery, assault, invasion of privacy, and emotional distress.
In response to the allegations made by the first accuser, Allen denied any wrongdoing, stating that the sexual relationship was consensual. However, the emergence of a second woman making similar claims raises serious questions about Allen’s conduct and the nature of these encounters.
Allen’s Record Label Officially Dropped His Following The Allegations
Country singer Allen has been officially dropped by his record label, BBR Music Group, following the emergence of a second allegation of sexual assault against him. This comes as another blow to Allen’s career, as the music industry continues to grapple with issues of sexual misconduct.
In a statement by BBR Music Group, they announced that they have terminated their relationship with Allen, stating, “He is no longer an active artist on our roster.” This decision comes in the wake of a new lawsuit filed against Allen by an anonymous woman, who has accused him of assault and battery in a Tennessee district court.
The first lawsuit led to serious consequences for Allen’s career. He was removed from the upcoming CMA Fest lineup, and his agency, UTA, suspended his involvement. Now, with the second allegation and the subsequent termination of his contract with BBR Music Group, Allen’s future in the music industry remains uncertain.
