Carrie Underwood Shares Cute Video of Son Jacob
Earlier this month, Underwood posted a video on Instagram in which she wrote, “Jake starting the day off right!” It featured a clip of her son Jacob standing next to the couch performing exercises while watching a workout video. Someone, possibly Underwood, can be heard laughing behind the camera.
As Underwood wrote in the post’s caption, “The boys found one of my old Tae Bo DVDs in a box of things and Jake thought he’d have himself a little morning workout!” She added that she “may soon have myself a gym buddy!” The singer added a few flexing muscle emojis.
Commenters loved the cute clip, with fellow country star Jimmie Allen writing, “He’s getting after it. That’s more exercising than I’ve done in the last 3 years.” Canada’s Got Talent host Lindsay Ell wrote, “This is incredible.”

Underwood Has Two Children with Husband Mike Fisher
Underwood married former professional hockey player Mike Fisher in 2010. The couple has two kids together. They welcomed their first son, Isaiah, in 2015. He’s now 7 years old. In 2019, they had Jacob, who is 3.
While Jacob might end up being Underwood’s gym buddy, Isaiah has previously been her duet partner. In 2020, she and her son recorded the song “Little Drummer Boy” for her Christmas album My Gift. The singer shared that Isasiah is “who I think of when I sing that song.”
While Underwood said she has “no expectations” about Isaiah pursuing music, she added that whatever career he chooses, she and Fisher will “support it and just want him to give it his all.”
