Best Ed Sheeran Covers on ‘The Voice’ Worldwide

Ed Sheeran’s tracks have quickly become some of the most popular picks for The Voice contestants worldwide. Apparently, Teddy’s tracks proved to be lucky choices during Blind Auditions.

1. Ibe Wuyts, The Voice Belgium

With the intent to turn chairs during the Blinds, Ibe Wuyts belted out a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Tenerife Sea.” His rendition was even more special as he sang it while playing the piano. The singer ended his audition as two-chair turner, officially entering The Voice Van Vlaanderen

2. Channuka, The Voice Sri Lanka

Bringing his acoustic guitar on stage, Channuka performed Sheeran’s “Galway Girl” during his audition. By the time he rapped, all coaches pressed their buttons for him. His chill, but attractive, vocals served as an asset during the whole performance.

3. Amber Sauer, The Voice USA

During season 14 of The Voice, Amber Sauer attempted to join a team. For the Blinds, she chose to sing Sheeran’s “Shape of You.” Her performance managed to impressed coach Kelly Clarkson, automatically making her a member of the pop star’s team.

4. Tate Brusa, The Voice USA

Tate Brusa joined The Voice during the show’s season 18. Back in his Blind audition, he belted out the pop star’s 2017 hit “Perfect.” Through the raspy tone, he successfully made Blake Shelton and Nick Jonas turn.

5. Vaughn Mugol, The Voice USA

Singing a rendition of Sheeran’s “The A Team,” Filipino-American nurse Vaughn Mugol managed to impress during the Blinds. Kelly Clarkson and John Legend first pressed their buttons, followed by then-new Ariana Grande. In the end, Mugol chose the “One Last Time” hitmaker to be his coach.

6. Vinchenzo, The Voice Holland

After his amazing experience on The Voice Kids, Vinchenzo signed up for The Voice Holland. During his audition, he sang Sheeran’s 2014 smash hit “Thinking Out Loud.” Vinchenzo concluded his Blinds experience as a four-chair turner.

7. Patrice Gerlach, The Voice Germany

Back in 2018, Patrice Gerlach competed on The Voice Germany. His audition performance consisted of singing Sheeran’s “Lego House.” He secured a slot in the competition as a three-chair turner.

8. Brendon Schoen Johnson, The Voice Switzerland

Brendon Schoen Johnson was a contestant back in The Voice Switzerland 2014. During his Blinds performance, he sang “Lego House” through his sensational and soulful voice. He managed to impress all coaches, making himself a four-chair turner.

9. Lara Gear, The Voice South Africa

In 2016, Lara Gear competed on The Voice Switzerland. For her Blinds performance, she belted out Sheeran’s “I See Fire.” Her thick and emotional vocals have successfully led her to secure three chair turns during the audition.

10. Bojesse Pigram, The Voice Australia

Failing to find the right key at the start of his audition, Bojesse Pigram had an uneasy start. Yet, after he recovered, coaches began noticing his amazing vocals. By the end of his performance, he was made to choose between Kelly Rowland and Delta Goodrem.
