‘America’s Got Talent’ Returns Tonight

The moment we’ve been waiting for since the fall is finally here. Everyone’s favorite variety talent show, America’s Got Talent, will be back tonight at 8:00pm EST on NBC. Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Tyra will all be back to showcase wacky acts and awesome performers.
Apparently, there are a lot of creepy, thrilling magic acts. Mel B said,
“It’s really scary! Even though my nickname is Scary Spice, I’m the most afraid scared person of anything even remotely spooky. I’ve never watched horror movies, I won’t go on roller coasters, I’ve never bungee jumped. I’m not a risk taker like that. It’s kind of serendipitous that it’s the 13th season and it’s very spooky, especially, in particular, the magic acts. I went into my dressing room and she followed me down the hallway and I said, ‘Wow, you are still following me!’ I had my TV blasting because I couldn’t sleep because I thought, ‘Is she going to come to my house?’ I’m that much of a scaredy cat!”
That sounds awesome. I’m all about that kind of stuff. The thing about shows like this is that you always have to try and up the ante. You can’t just have regular magicians doing card tricks or little girls singing Yankee Doodle. Simon Cowell also said the show is going to keep us on the edge of our seats,
“There’s one act in particular. Wow! I’ve never seen anything like this. It was like Linda Blair decided to audition from The Exorcist. She doesn’t talk. It’s one of the weirdest, scariest acts we’ve ever had on the show.”
WTF, seriously. I guess we’ll have to tune in tonight and see.
