Along with Alter Ego‘s premiere, they have launched a sweepstake in collaboration with The Los Angeles Chargers football team. If you follow Alter Ego or any of their 20 contestants on Instagram, I’m sure you have seen the advertisement for this by now.
In this Alter Ego sweepstake with The Los Angeles Chargers, you could win tickets to one of their upcoming games. Although this competition could be confusing to some, it really is quite simple. When you visit the website, it shows a giant picture of The Los Angeles Chargers stadium. There will be the option to tag yourself, but that feature is for people who attended the game on September 19. Instead, your goal is to find the Alter Ego avatar in the crowd.
You can zoom in and out on the photo until you find the Alter Egos hiding in the stands. Once you find one, you click on them and then provide your email address. Once you provide your email address, you will be entered into a lottery to get your tickets.
According to the terms and conditions of the sweepstakes, all 20 of the avatars are hidden within the stadium. (You got me Alter Ego, I only found the obvious ones.) Once you’ve submitted your find into the competition, you can still search. But only one entry will be valid for the ticket lottery.
Misconceptions About the Alter Ego Sweepstakes
The advertisement for this sweepstakes says that you just need to find the avatar in the stands and then you’ll receive tickets. Unfortunately, The Los Angeles Chargers aren’t really giving away their tickets that easily. In reality, only one person will be announced as the winner of this competition.
To win the sweepstakes, you must be a legal U.S. citizen. The terms and conditions also suggest that you are at least 18 years-old. If you are not 18 years-old and your name is chosen, a legal parent or guardian will have to claim these tickets and must accompany you at the game.
This promotion began on September 20 and ends on September 26. The winner of this random lottery will be notified via email and will have 24 hours to claim their tickets before they choose another winner. If you’re picked as the winner, you will receive two tickets to The Los Angeles Chargers game on October 4.
These tickets approximately retail at $600, but the sweepstakes itself will not be responsible for your accommodations. You will have to arrange your own way to get to and from the game.
