‘AGT’ Reveals Lineup For First Live Show
The highly-anticipated live rounds of America’s Got Talent will finally arrive next Tuesday, and the show just announced the acts who will be performing in the first week’s show!
The first three weeks of live shows will cover the quarter-finals round. In each Tuesday episode, 12 acts will perform and on Wednesdays, seven of them will move forward to the semi-finals while the other five will be eliminated.
The 12 acts set to perform on the August 14 episode are:
- singer Amanda Mena
- choir Angel City Chorale
- singer Courtney Hadwin
- rapper Flau’jae
- dance group Junior New System
- novelty act La Fontaine Humane
- escapologist Lord Nil
- diabolo artist Mochi
- PAC Dance Team
- card magician Shin Lim
- stand-up comedian Vicki Barbolak
- family band We Three
Looking at this list, I have to say, this week looks absolutely stacked. Four of the nine Golden Buzzers – Amanda, Courtney, Angel City, and Flau’jae – will perform in the episode, and We Three, Shin Lim, and Mochi have also been standouts; all seem to have quite large fan backings from viewers.
Taking a stab at who I think might stay or go, Courtney, Flau’jae, Shin, and We Three seem like locks to move forward (though we’ve certainly been surprised by results before) while La Fontaine and PAC feel like the only obvious boots in this group. Everyone else could go either way at this point, so it’ll be important for the performers to take their acts to the next level.
AGT will go live from the Dolby Theater this Tuesday, August 14 at 8/7c.
