Freestyle Rapper Drops Judges’ Jaws
As the night went on, more Quarterfinals Golden Buzzers returned to the stage. Simon Cowell’s Quarterfinal Golden Buzzer, Micah Palace sang and rapped in spanglish. Highly anticipated singer, Jourdan Blue returned to the stage singing “Golden” by KPop Demon Hunters. Judges wanted to see Jourdan pick a less safe song for the Final, and he definitely delivered. Mandel commented first on the performance, saying the song choice was the best since the song is huge right now. The judge believes Jourdan just won the competition.
Following Jourdan was Quarterfinals Golden Buzzer recipient Team Recycled. The dance group began in the audience once again, then made their way to the stage to perform a series of coordinated dances. Mandel said that the dance group gave their best dance yet.
The final performer of the night was Quarterfinals Golden Buzzer recipient Steve Ray Ladson. The country singer returned to the stage singing original song “Do The Rodeo.” Vergara was the first to talk after the performance, saying Steve is already a superstar from his “smile” to his “charisma.”
Voting for the AGT Finale is now live until 7AM ET on Wednesday, September 24. Be sure to tune into the AGT finale results on Wednesday, September 24 at 9PM ET to see who won this season.

How on earth could America put a person who does ridiculous rapping before Jourdan Blue?? Even if he ultimately came in second in the overall competetion, that would have at least been more realistic than what DID happen!
Jourdan Blue wins this. Total performer. The voice. The showmanship the way he moves you while singing his songs like he is telling you a story. Everything is spectacular.
Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like the fix has been in for Jourdan Blue from the jump. After his previous performance (that was hindered by a health issue) he was literally given a pass to get to the finals. I agree that he’s very good and is definitely going to become a successful artist; but this season has so many other acts that have delivered amazing performances at every opportunity. With the wide variations in type of performances, it’s nearly impossible to say just one of these acts is the absolute best.
