Fans Are Outraged with This Season of So You Think You Can Dance

This beloved series returned to FOX after numerous cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic. Even though the network promised for a bigger and better SYTYCD, they have fallen short of the expectations. Fans are most angry because they’re unable to vote for their favorite dancers. Instead, results are decided by the judges and in-studio audience.

Since the format has changed, fans have taken to social media to acknowledge that the judges aren’t picking America’s choice. During the episode on Wednesday June 29, fans were sad to see Jordan Betscher eliminated from the competition.

For the episode, Jordan was paired with Beau Harmon for a Viennese Waltz. Unfortunately, Jordan fell ill during rehearsals and Beau had to rehearse with Koine Iwasaki. They re-joined later in the show, with three hours to rehearse the dance together. Even though their dance was impressive with the tight time frame, Jordan was eliminated by the judges and in studio audience.
