The Kelly Clarkson Show is once again set up to win big at the upcoming Daytime Emmy Award ceremony on June 24. This talk show has received nine nominations in the upcoming award ceremony.
The Kelly Clarkson Show is set to return to the Daytime Emmy Award ceremony with more nominations than ever. On May 5, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the show’s nine nominations. Kelly Clarkson’s reaction was caught when she heard of their nine nominations.
Kelly Clarkson Reacts to Her Show’s Nine Daytime Emmy Nominations
The host of the series, Clarkson seemed to be in disbelief of their nine nominations. The Kelly Clarkson show is nominated for the awards for outstanding: talk show, host, directing team, music direction, lighting, tech team, multiple camera editing, art direction, and live sound mixing.
“Oh my god! It’s our whole show!” Clarkson said while grinning.
After hearing all the nominations, she realized the music direction Emmy Award would go to her music director, Jason Halbert. Clarkson got out of her seat, ran over to the band and hugged Halbert, congratulating him and the band.
The talk show shared this announcement on all of their social media accounts. Within the comments of each post, fans are showing their support for the show.
“That’s amazing!! Your show is the best, and I can tell everyone loves working there. You all deserve all the awards!!” a fan replied on Twitter.
The Kelly Clarkson Show is no stranger to the world of the Daytime Emmy Awards. This series began in 2019 and has since received 22 nominations to date. Prior to this season’s Daytime Emmy Award ceremony, this talk show has won six Daytime Emmy Awards of 13 nominations. They won three Daytime Emmy Awards in 2020 and three in 2021.
The Daytime Emmy Award Ceremony takes place on Sunday, June 24. These awards will be live on CBS at 9 p.m. ET. Paramount + subscribers will also be able to watch this ceremony streamed within the service.
