Natalia Sikora Rocked ‘The Voice Of Poland’ Stage During Blind Audition

The 27-year-old performed “Cry Baby” which was recorded by Janis Joplin in the 70s. She gave the performance everything she had, starting off with that note at the beginning that had the coach’s eyes bulging out of their heads.

She launched into the rock tune and immediately Marek Piekarczyk turned his chair. Patrycja Markowska was next to turn her chair during this epic performance. Justyna Steczkowska turned her chair followed by Tomson & Baron. This was a four-chair turn full of excitement. Natalia ended the song with a note much like the one she started off with. This was a pitch that not many artists are able to sing.

The coaches said that she is the resurrected version of Janis Joplin. Marek said that he had heart palpitations from the performance and they both bonded over their shared love for Janis. Natalia chose to be on Team Marek who said that he wanted Natalia to teach him how to become spiritually connected with Janis.

In the Battle Rounds, Natalia sang “Czas nas uczy pogody” against Dorota OsiÅ„ska. She continued on in the competition and made it all the way to the Live Shows. In the Semifinals, Natalia once again sang “Cry Baby,” this time more bone-chilling than the first.

Where Is She Now?

After her big win on The Voice of Poland, Natalia got to portray Janis in a play called JOPLIN. She also went on to perform in a concert dedicated to Janis’s legacy. Natalia has always spoken about having a spiritual connection with Janis while she is singing on stage. It is one of the reasons why she turns her body while she sings, as a way to connect to Janis.

She recently launched a fundraiser to help fund her album VOODOO DOG. This is a persona she came up with after performing on The Voice of Poland and winning the whole competition. The inspiration of the album is to take everyone back to the root of rock music that has led people like Natalia to feel free. Natalia frequently posts videos of performances on her YouTube channel as she hopes to release the album soon.
