You Won’t Believe What Simon Cowell Is Splurging His Money On This Time…
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Simon Cowell has new plans and this time, it’s nothing to do with TV shows. Simon is planning a total revamp to his multi-million dollar home in London. Here’s why we think one particular aspect of his renovation plans are nothing short of crazy.
Simon Cowell to build an outdoor pool at his $15 million London mansion
One particular striking addition to the refurb at Simon’s London home will be an outdoor swimming pool. The TV judge also plans to add changing rooms to accompany it. However glamorous this may seem, we find it hard to find the logic in this particular addition to his home. London on average is hot enough to swim outside 4% of the days in a year. Approximately 320 days of the year in London are considered too cold and cloudy. We hate to break it to you Simon, but this new swimming pool may not have been the best choice!

Simon also plans to make other additions to his home, including new security systems, a refurb of the house’s windows, and an extension of his sunroom. The Sun has reported that Cowell finds that these changes will make the house more ‘family-friendly’.
Simon Cowell’s Malibu home, however, is well equipped with a swimming pool and tennis courts. The TV judge bought the home in 2017 and has used it for two seasons of The X Factor, including the latest spin-off show, ‘X Factor: Celebrity’, back in November.
