Meet the Acts Auditioning in AGT Season 20 Week 9
The next episode of AGT Season 20 is set to air on Tuesday, August 5, at 8/7c on NBC. Several new acts will take the stage for their chance to earn enough “yes” votes from the judges to move on. This is the final round of auditions before the live shows start on August 19. Will there be one more Golden Buzzer?
1. Alex Blanchard
Alex Blanchard is a dancer who recently graduated from Liverpool Theatre School in the UK. She frequently posts her energetic dance routines on Instagram, sometimes incorporating acrobatic moves into her performances.
2. Avalon Penrose
Avalon Penrose is a voice actress and singer, known for her role as Megaera in the video game Hades. Avalon previously auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, performing opera with a messy twist. What will the AGT judges think?
3. B Unique Crew
B Unique Crew is a dance group from India that has performed on a few different Got Talent shows in the past. Their performances combine contortion, technology, and one-of-a-kind showmanship. Will the judges be impressed?
4. Church Friends
Church Friends is a family band from Louisville, Kentucky, consisting of the members Taylor, Anna Kate, Kieana, and Jeff. The band recently released an original song called “Take Me Home.”
5. Fruit Punch
Fruit Punch is a dance group with over 100,000 followers on TikTok, where they post fun dance videos, often with eye-catching costumes. What will the AGT judges have to say about their audition?
6. Julia Hladkowicz
Julia Hladkowicz is a Canadian comedian who has toured the country and been featured on networks such as MTV and PBS, as well as SiriusXM. She also appeared on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. Julia will be performing stand-up in this week’s episode.
7. Matt O’Brien
Matt O’Brien is another Canadian comedian who happens to be married to Julia Hladkowicz. Despite being a couple, the two are apparently auditioning separately. Will they both impress the AGT judges, or will only one of them go through?
8. Osso Brothers
The Osso Brothers are an acrobatic duo from California consisting of Yaroslav and Vsevolod Ossolodkov. The brothers were trained by their father Konstantin Ossolodkov, who works as an acrobatic gymnastics coach.
