Who Is Alix Earle? Meet the Newest ‘Dancing with the Stars’ 2025 Contestant

It was recently announced that TikTok star Alix Earle is the second celebrity cast member to join Dancing with the Stars Season 34, after Robert Irwin. If you’re not familiar with Earle, read on to find out more about her rise to Internet stardom.
Who Is Dancing with the Stars Contestant Alix Earle?
Alix Earle is a 24-year-old social media personality and model from New Jersey. Earle graduated from the University of Miami in 2023 with a degree in marketing. When she was attending the school in 2020, she began posting TikTok videos.
Earle gained even more popularity on the platform in 2022, when she began posting “Get Ready with Me” videos. As of this writing, Earle has 7.5 million followers on TikTok, and more than 4 million followers on Instagram. The phrase “the Alix Earle effect” was coined to describe the tendency for products she recommends to sell out.
In 2023, Earle launched a podcast called Hot Mess with Alix Earle, produced by Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network. That same year, Earle was included on Forbes‘ 30 Under 30 list. Earlier this year, Earle became an investor and brand partner for the canned cocktail brand SipMargs.
In March, Earle put her podcast on pause after being dropped by Unwell. In the meantime, she has been posting vlogs on her YouTube channel, showing her experience on vacation, at music festivals, and posing for photoshoots.

Earle Is Excited to Join the 2025 Competition
Earle is the second celebrity contestant to officially join Dancing with the Stars for the 2025 season, after Robert Irwin was announced last month. Earle posted a TikTok video of herself getting ready to appear on Good Morning America for the announcement.
She shared that she grew up watching DWTS with her grandma, and she was also “obsessed with dance” when she was younger. Her New Year’s resolution for 2025 was to start taking dance classes again, so when the show reached out, it was the “craziest opportunity.”
Earle admitted that she’s “pretty terrified” to compete in the ballroom, adding that she used to “black out and forget everything” when she performed dance at a young age. The celebrity-pro partnerships have yet to be announced, so we’ll have to wait to find out who Earle will be dancing with.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is expected to premiere in the fall, although an official date hasn’t been announced. New seasons typically kick off in September, and we’ll hear more about this year’s cast as the premiere gets closer.
