What to Expect From ‘The Masked Singer’ Double Elimination
Reading Time: 3 minutes
This week’s episode of The Masked Singer will be supersized! The Super 8 will battle it out in a special two-hour episode that will end in a double elimination. While we are sad to see two amazing performers go, we also can’t wait to see which celebrities are under the masks.
Who Will be Eliminated on ‘The Masked Singer’?
After last week’s shocking elimination of The Orca, it will be interesting to see who goes home this week. Left in the competition are The Russian Dolls, The Robopine, The Seashell, The Piglet, The Black Swan, The Chameleon, The Crab, and The Yeti.
Based on consistency alone, The Russian Dolls and The Robopine have basically solidified that they’re going to the finale. That leaves six other performers at risk of going home. The Piglet and The Black Swan have both impressed the judges every single week and are certainly fan favorites. They will most likely advance on in the competition as well.
The Yeti is the wildcard that just arrived last week and seems like he is here to stay after a fun debut. That leaves The Crab, The Seashell, and The Chameleon in the danger zone. It’s a toss-up between these three performers who are all incredible, but might be a bit overshadowed by some of the other singers left in the competition.

At the end of the jam-packed episode, we might be saying goodbye to The Crab and The Chameleon. Honestly, the judges seem to have a soft spot for The Seashell who has built a newfound sense of confidence over the last few weeks. However, we would not be surprised if a curveball is thrown at us with the votes again this week. Always expect the unexpected.
What Else To Look Forward To In This Supersized Episode
Singer and actress Rita Wilson will be joining the judging panel in this exciting episode to help Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Nicole Scherzinger try and figure out which celebrities are underneath the masks. Her extensive music career may help her zero-in on some clues and make some accurate guesses.
Host Nick Cannon also returned after recovering from COVID-19. He was unmasked as The Bulldog, a wildcard performer that seriously had the judges stumped with his clue package. Niecy Nash filled in for him throughout the first half of the season.
As always, make sure you check out our weekly recap show. This week, we exposed the identity of The Piglet. The judges have been on the correct boyband path with their guesses so far, but could probably benefit from seeing another clue package.
