Ashlee Simpson (aka Galaxy Girl) recently opened up about her experience being crowned the Season 14 winner of The Masked Singer, sharing that her son Ziggy has called dibs on the Golden Mask trophy.
Ashlee Simpson Receives The Masked Singer Trophy
While chatting with Entertainment Tonight about her time on The Masked Singer, Ashlee Simpson was presented with the Golden Mask trophy. As she said, “Thank you so much, because I never got this, and I’m so excited to have it.”
She went on to say that her 5-year-old son Ziggy, whom she shares with husband Evan Ross (who appeared on the show as Stingray earlier this season), is “so excited” about her trophy, as he apparently told her “it’s going in my room.”
As for her 10-year-old daughter Jagger, she was a big fan of third-place finisher Cat Witch (aka Kylie Cantrall), telling her mom, “It’s a tie for me.” Simpson said she told her, “Okay, I’ll take it.”
Simpson’s older sister Jessica was present during her unmasking. As the singer shared, “Jessica and I have been there for every moment for each other, so for her to unmask me was so special.”

Simpson, Ross Couldn’t See Each Other on Set
Although Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross were competing on Season 14 of The Masked Singer at the same time, they reportedly weren’t able to see each other while they were on the set of the show.
“That was the interesting part, not being able to see him on set, knowing my husband is there,” Simpson told People. “And then they changed our days. We were never there at the same time.”
Still, Simpson watched her husband’s performances, saying he “killed it” and adding, “Stingray had the moves.” The couple tied the knot in 2014 and share two kids. Ross is also the stepfather to Simpson’s son Bronx, whom she shares with ex-husband Pete Wentz.
