‘The Voice’ Releases First Preview Of Season 14

The Voice returns on February 26th for season 14. The last season was one of the biggest successes, both in ratings and in song sales on iTunes, in the history of the show. Alicia Keys returns to the show after a year off and Kelly Clarkson is also joining the cast and it looks like Kelly is going to steal the show in this first preview.
She’s taking Miley Cyrus’ spot and much like Miley she brings a fun energy that the show really thrives on. Alicia is amazing but she can get a little serious. There’s the loving jobs between Blake and Adam but we’ve seen that for over a decade. Kelly is fun, brassy, and wants to win. She’s not afraid to get out of her seat and mess with people.
Also Kelly is in a way the most qualified person on the panel. She is, of course, the archetypal talent show winner. Way back in the mists of time she won the first season of American Idol, relaunching the talent show genre into public consciousness. Who better to mentor young singers than someone whose career was launched the same way?
