The Voice Recap: Live Playoffs Begin
We’ve made it to the live playoffs, and prepare yourself for a whirlwind of 24 performances in two short hours. Performances run back to back with very little commentary in between. We find out the top votes of each team for tonight’s performances, and an even further glimpse into who Season 14’s fan favorites may be. With each team being so strong, eliminations will be difficult this time around.
The first team to perform of the night, and they each had solid performances. Kelly says she’s so excited and proud of each of them. She says they’re each so different, and not to be discouraged if they’re not picked to move on because it’s like comparing apples to oranges.

Kaleb Lee performed You Don’t Even Know Who I Am
Tish Hayes Keys: performed Nothing Left for You by Sam Smith.
Brynn Cartelli performed Unstoppable by Sia. She was the first to move onto the next round, getting the most votes from Team Kelly.
Dylan performed Come Pick Me Up by Ryan Adams
D.R. King performed Home by Marc Broussard
In Adam’s speech to his contestants, he talks about how they’re now at the difficult part of the competition because, at this point, everyone is so good. He says it’s impossible to judge talent and has no idea what will happen, but that it doesn’t even matter because his team is all so impressive.

Mia Boostrom performs Baby I Love You by Aretha Franklin. She receives a standing ovation from all four judges.
Jackie Verna performs Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift. She is the last country artist on Adam’s Team.
Rayshun LaMarr performs Overjoyed by Stevie Wonder.
Sharane Calister performs Never Enough by Loren Allred. She receives the most votes from Team Adam and moves on to the Top 12!
Reid Umstattd performs I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For by U2
Blake compliments each of his team members by letting them know they all stepped up to the plate, and that he’s proud of each of them.
The contestant with the most votes: Kyla Jade
Austin Giorgio performs Ain’t That a Kick in the Head by Dean Martin
Pryor Baird voice is distinct and unique. He performs I Was Wrong by Chris Stapleton.
Kyla Jade wins her ticket to the next level by receiving the most votes in her group. She performs the classic song, How Great Thou Art.
Gary Edwards performs Finesse by Bruno Mars
Spensha Baker performs I Still Believe in You by Vince Gill
Wilkes performs Brother by NeedtoBreathe
Last but not least, arguably the strongest team in the competition as Alicia’s group is full of fan favorites. She tells her team that they are all individual artists and that their beauty comes from the inside. She compliments them on their authentic performances and encourages them that no matter what, the journey doesn’t stop here.

Johnny Bliss sets himself apart by performing in Spanish to the song America America.
Kelsea Johnson performs You Know I’m No Good by Amy Winehouse. Her R & B style is unique and strong.
Terrence Cunningham performs Home Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore by Prince. He automatically sets himself apart by performing on the piano and always does a flawless job.
Jackie Foster performs Never Tear Us Apart by INXS. Her strong voice and stage presence make this performance a win.
Christiana Danielle performs a unique rendition of Hey Ya! by Outkast. She always makes each song her own and has a unique quality that sets her apart. We predict she will be in the Top 12!
Britton Buchanan is off to the next round after receiving the most votes on Team Alicia. He performs She’s Some Kind of Wonderful by Soul Brothers Six
