‘The Voice’ Las Vegas Show ‘Neon Dreams’ Loses Its Home
Reading Time: 1 minutes
The Voice has been hyping Neon Dreams for a while now. Basically, it’s a showcase of past Voice contestants that would put on an extravaganza in Las Vegas. The show was having its own theater built at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. But for reasons that are unclear, the Hard Rock pulled out. Now Neon Dreams has to look for a new home.
The show was set to launch on September 17th of this year. Now that looks unlikely to happen. It’s unclear who called the whole thing off. The Hard Rock people say it was the producers. These same producers may not be affiliated with the show’s production itself. It seems odd that the show would pull our of a potentially lucrative deal like that. There must be some backroom stuff going on between the Hard Rock and the show we don’t know about.
Mel and I were talking to the Talent Recap überlords about sending us to Vegas when Neon Dreams started. The show is looking around the strip for an open venue so it could still happen. Right?
