‘The Voice’ Recap: Blind Auditions End as Coaches Finalize Their Teams

The Voice returned to NBC on Tuesday, October 7 for the final set of the Blind Auditions. In case you missed it, The Voice is set to begin Battle Rounds next week, and teams are now full. Be sure to tune back in on Monday, October 13 for the first episode of the Battle Round.
The first singer of the night was Trinity, who came to the stage singing “Don’t Let Go (Love)” by En Vogue. Niall Horan was the first to turn, followed by Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé. Even though coaches fought, Trinity decided to join Snoop Dogg’s team.
Up next was a familiar face in The Voice family. One of the members of group auditioned for Season 27 and didn’t earn a single chair turn. This time around, as a duo, Letters to Elise sang “Take On Me” by Aha. They turned the chairs of McEntire and Snoop Dogg. Ultimately, they decided to pick McEntire’s team.
The following act was Camille Tredoux, who sang “Behind Blue Eyes” by The Who. Camille turned the chairs of coaches Horan and McEntire. She decided to join Horan’s team after the impressive performance.
Latin singer Emmanuel Ray took the stage singing “primera cita” by Carin León. Emmanuel turned the chairs of both Bublé and Snoop Dogg. Bublè didn’t put up the fight he did for Teo Ramdel, so Emmanuel chose to join Snoop Dogg’s team. Also in this episode was Aubrey Nicole, who sang “Burning House” by Cam. McEntire was the only coach that turned for her, so she joined that team by default.
Reba McEntire is First Coach to Fill Team
The first coach to complete their Season 28 team was none other than country Queen, Reba McEntire. Aaron Nicolas took the stage singing Cold” by Chris Stapleton. Although Bublé and Snoop Dogg also turned, he decided to chose McEntire. He completed McEntire’s team.
Up next was Jerrell Melton, who sang “Go The Distance” by Michael Bolton. Snoop Dogg was the only coach that turned, so Jerrell joined his team by default. Bublé’s team was complete with singer Elias Gomez, who took the stage singing “Lonely Teardrops” by Jackie Wilson.
Completing Horan’s team is Alex Brown, who came to the stage singing “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart” by the Bee Gees. Both Horan and Snoop Dogg turned their chairs for this singer. The final singer of the episode was Makenzie Phipps. She sang Lainey Wilson’s “4x4xU.”
Also appearing on this episode was Bullfrog who sang “Soulshine” by The Allman Brothers Band and Myra Tran, who sang “Symphony” by Clean Bandit. Unfortunately they did not receive an chair turns.
