Britain’s Got Talent has shared an early release audition from this week’s new episode of Series 19, featuring a rapper called Ren DMC, who performed a diss track about the show’s judges. The performance made the panel laugh.
BGT Rapper Performs Diss Track About the Judges
Ren DMC introduced himself to the panel as a youth worker from London. He proceeded to perform a rap about the BGT judges, but they didn’t realize at first that it was going to be a diss track. He commented on Alesha Dixon’s girl group Mis-Teeq, calling them “the Temu version of Spice Girls.”
Next, he rapped about hearing Amanda Holden on the radio, saying, “The words you were saying were so inspiring. Pscyh! I turned it off and drove in silence.” Ren’s “next victim” was KSI, as he joked, “I heard that you do boxing now, and if I’m honest, I think that is stupid. But I know why you hit your opponents — ’cause you can’t make a hit in your music.”
Ren didn’t forget about Simon Cowell. Lucky for the music mogul, Ren decided not to roast him. Instead, he called him “the man.” After his performance, Dixon and Cowell gave Ren a standing ovation, while KSI hit his red buzzer.
KSI joked that it was “one of the worst things I’ve ever heard in my life.” Dixon called it “really unexpected and really, really funny.” KSI ended up admitting that it “was funny.” Ren earned three “yes” votes from the judges to move on in the competition.
BGT Series 19 will continue this Saturday with a new episode of auditions at 6:45 p.m. on ITV1, ITVX, and STV. Ahead of the new episode, the show shared another brief early release clip from an upcoming audition.
The clip, which was posted on Instagram, shows a performer swinging two whips close to judge Amanda Holden, who stands on stage wearing a cowboy hat and goggles to protect her eyes. The whips get scarily close to her. We’ll have to wait until the episode airs to find out what the panel had to say.
