‘The Voice’ Recap: Aiden Ross Wins Season 28, Niall Horan Secures Third Win

The Voice Season 28 has officially concluded. After a 12 week competition, the show has officially crowned Aiden Ross as their very next champion. This makes Niall Horan the next winning coach of The Voice. Here’s everything you may have missed on Tuesday night’s Finale.
The Voice finale began with an interesting opening number. The mash-up began with coaches (minus Niall Horan, who sat out of performing on the episode) and eventually included each of the artists remaining in the competition.
Then, all singers remaining in the competition performed holiday songs with their coaches, except for Team Niall members, who sang with other artists. In place of Horan, frontrunner Aiden Ross performed “Last Christmas” with Gina Miles. DEK of Hearts then performed “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” with Reba McEntire.
McEntire then performed with her remaining act, Aubrey Nicole. Together, they sang “Mary Did You Know?” Team Bublé member Jazz McKenzie performed “Jingle Bell Rock” with her coach. Later Max chambers performed “Blue Christmas” with Bublé. Finally, Ralph Edwards performed “This Christmas” with coach Snoop Dogg.
There was a variety of other guest performers in the Finale, including Zach Brown, Noah Cyrus, Khalid and more. Eventually, the final six singers returned to the stage for the results. The artist that finished in sixth place was Jazz McKenzie, followed by Max Chambers in 5th place, Aubrey Nicole in 4th place, and DEK of Hearts in 3rd place. The top two of Season 28 was Ralph Edwards and Aiden Ross.
Aiden Ross Wins The Voice Season 28
As predicted, Aiden Ross is bringing home the grand price on The Voice Season 28. This is officially Horan’s third win as a coach on the show. His previous were with Gina Miles (Season 23) and Huntley (Season 24). It’s official that Horan has managed to win all three of the season’s he’s coached on The Voice.
Earlier this season, Aiden auditioned singing “Love In The Dark” by Adele. Coaches instantly turned after hearing the beginning of of the song. The singer’s tone was absolutely flawless, to the point where Horan asked “what planet are you from?” as soon as the song was over.
After coaches argued for Aiden, he ultimately ended up choosing Horan as his coach. Horan admitted he’s worked with similar types of artists in the past, and would like to turn his chair back around if Aiden picks anyone else.
From there, Aiden performed “What a Time” by Julia Michaels in the Battle round, “When is the Party’s Over” by Billie Eilish in the Knockout round, and “The Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice. The 20 year old remained on Team Niall since his four-chair audition.
