The Voice Season 27 returned Monday night on NBC for another round of Knockouts, as the coaches continued to narrow down their teams. During the show, coach John Legend stole Adam Levine’s artist Ari Camille, who used to be on his own team.
The Voice Knockouts Continue with a Steal for Team Legend
A notable Knockout from Monday’s new show came from Adam Levine’s artists Britton Moore and Ari Camille. Britton turned four chairs in his Blind Audition and chose to join Team Adam. Ari started the show on Team Legend before being stolen by Levine in the Battles.
For Ari’s part of the Knockout, she performed “Love Like This” by Faith Evans. She was followed by Britton, who sang “Free” by Zac Brown Band. The coaches praised both performances, with Michael Bublé marveling at the fact that both singers are only 21 years old.
Legend said it was his favorite performance that Ari has given on the show, joking, “I’m not gonna credit Adam being your coach.” When it came time to choose the winner of the Knockout, Levine decided to keep Britton on his team going into the Playoffs.
But it wasn’t the end of the road for Ari, as Legend hit his button to steal her back for his own team. He said that he thinks Ari “exudes star power.” Ari told Legend, “I’m home. I missed you guys.”

Team Bublé Artist Sings a Maroon 5 Song
Another notable Knockout from Monday’s show was between Team Bublé artists Divighn and Kaiya Hamilton. Both artists joined Bublé’s team in their Blind Auditions and made it through their respective Battles.
For their Knockout, Kaiya chose to sing “Here” by Alessia Cara, while Divighn took on “Harder to Breathe,” the debut single by Adam Levine’s band Maroon 5, off their album Songs About Jane. Divighn joked that he was “sweating thinking about” performing the song in front of Levine.
Divighn showed off a great stage presence for his performance, and Levine was clearly impressed, as he gave the singer a standing ovation. He joked that Divighn has “great taste in music.” Levine admitted he gets nervous about people covering his songs, but said the singer did something with the song that “wasn’t what I normally do.”
When it came time for Bublé to choose a winner of the Knockout, he opted to keep Kaiya on his team. That meant that Divighn was unfortunately eliminated. Do you agree with the coach’s decision? Let us know in the comments below.
