American Idol went from the top 14 to the top 10. For the most part the people who went through is who we figured. One of those shoe-ins was Alejandro Aranda. He is easily the most popular singer on the show. So, we ask…what is it about Alejandro Aranda?
Clearly he is incredibly talented. His voice is outstanding, the songwriting is on point, and that guitar playing is next level. But that doesn’t explain Alejandromania. Mel and I think that one of the main things that intrigues people about Alejandro is the fact that he’s mysterious. We know nothing about his background, his family, etc. I’m sure he has a sob story but we haven’t heard it. He’s just this magical dishwasher that dresses like a cholo who walked in off the street to blow us all away.
This week we have a very special guest, the one and only Bumbly from this season of Idol! She made it all the way to the top 20 in Hawaii and talked to Mel about being on the show and what the experience was like. She also talked to us about Alejandro Aranda and what makes him so special. After talking to her, I’m even more convinced Alejandro Aranda is going to win. Plus, Bumbly sings for us!
