Spoiler: Is Emanne Beasha The New ‘AGT’ Frontrunner?
In this action-packed episode of The Talent Recap Show Mel and I ask what’s on everyone’s mind. Namely, has ten-year-old opera sensation Emanne Beasha taken the lead on America’s Got Talent?
What We Saw This Week On AGT
This week we saw the last of the quarter-finals and now know who is going forward to the semis. There were some terrific acts that performed this week. Young singer Benicio Bryant and magician Dom Chambers were two of my favorites. We also said goodbye to Lukas and his faithful dog Falco and, of course, the one and only Gonzo. But by far the act that everyone was talking about is pint-sized operatic dynamo Emanne Beasha.
Emanne Beasha vs. Kodi Lee vs. V. Unbeatable?
After Indian troupe V.Unbeatable kicked some serious butt last week with their acrobatic dance act, everyone was saying that frontrunner Kodi Lee finally had someone to worry about. Kodi is such an amazing talent and after he blew us all away at the audition he seemed untouchable. But V. Unbeatable isn’t his only competition. If I was Kodi and V. Unbeatable I’d keep a close eye on Emanne. She already won Arab’s Got Talent and she has her eyes set on conquering America.
So, is Emanne the new frontrunner? She’s definitely in the mix. I wouldn’t be surprised if when it gets to the finale we see her in the top two or three. I’ll reserve saying for sure until we see the next episode and see who is eliminated. But at this point in the competition we might just be seeing a three-way battle for supremacy with Kodi, V. Unbeatable, and Emanne.
It’s uncommon for most grade school kids to be into opera. She told our correspondent Jackelyn Shultz on the red carpet that her mom got her into opera. When I was ten I listened exclusively to ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic and George Michael. But I guess that’s why I won’t ever go on AGT to compete to win a million dollars.
