On this week’s action-packed episode of The Talent Recap Show, Mel and I dive into the second week of The Voice blind auditions. This week was in general much better than week one. There were some legit contenders for the weird severed hand making a peace sign while holding a microphone trophy.
One thing I really liked about this week was how Latin it got. Not only did Latinos get through to the battle rounds but they also performed in Spanish with Jorge Eduardo’s Despacito and Johnny Bliss singing Preciosa. We even had Alicia singing in Spanish. In general it’s been said in the past that The Voice could definitely be more diverse. This is definitely a step in the right direction.
Kelly and Alicia are still dominating the game so far, but Blake finally got a little love. But Adam? What’s going on buddy? He is lagging behind big time. I think it’s those damn Hawaiian shirts he always wears. They are clouding his judgement.
