Simon Cowell To Return To TV After Being Seen In Public For The First Time Since Bike Accident

Simon Cowell is on the mend after falling off of his electric bike and breaking his back in three places. The America’s Got Talent judge was finally seen out in public for the first time after his six-hour back surgery on August 9th. Could this mean Simon will be headed back to television sometime soon?
‘America’s Got Talent’ Judge Simon Cowell Is Seen In Public After Accident
Simon was seen out in public for the first time while being driven to his Los Angeles doctor’s appointment in a Rolls Royce. He had been staying at his Malibu home to film America’s Got Talent before taking a fall off of his bike in his courtyard. He has yet to return to the show as viewers have seen Kelly Clarkson and Keenan Thompson step in to take his place in the first two weeks of live shows. At first, it was unclear whether or not Simon would be returning to the show at all this season. But his friends and doctors are impressed with his speedy recovery after having a metal rod placed in his back.
A source spoke to The Sun saying “One of his friends joked that the metal holding him together makes him The Terminator – which amused Simon. He won’t mind if that sticks, but the main thing is that he’s on the mend.” The source confirmed that Simon is doing physiotherapy at home every day. “He left hospital quietly and has been recuperating at home since then with family. This was his first trip out of the house for a check-up on how things are healing up” the source also said.

He Is Already Back On His Feet After Surgery
Simon was already up and walking shortly after having surgery. “He’s been able to walk quite a lot and quicker than the experts had expected him to do after this type of major surgery which is a great sign for the healing coming along well,” a source told People. Simon even began taking work calls and answering emails on his iPad while recovering.

One thing that has reportedly been helping Simon recover faster are healing crystals. He surrounded his hospital bed with them to help him heal quicker. “Two of his friends had searched out and delivered some powerful healing energy crystals which he has with him,” a source told The Sun. Simon also has changed his vegetarian diet up a bit and started eating meat again. Another source told the Mirror that “Lauren has been to the hospital to drop a few things off once each day. She has been making his favorite Italian bean soup and also Cottage Pie with turkey, which he loves.” It definitely seems like Simon has been eating well and under the best care to help him with his quick recovery.
Will Simon Cowell Be Returning To ‘America’s Got Talent’ Or ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ This Season?
Simon is looking forward to returning to work and has reportedly recorded segments to appear in the Britain’s Got Talent live shows. However, he will not be publicly making an appearance for the first few shows. It was just announced that Ashley Banjo who won ‘BGT’ with the group Diversity is filling in for Simon as a replacement judge. However, sources have said that Simon hopes to be back in person on America’s Got Talent by September 24. He also wants to attend the finale of Britain’s Got Talent in October.
