Simon Cowell was seen out in public yet again since breaking his back in August. After his serious electric bike accident, everything was up in the air about how quickly the 61-year-old would recover. But with this being his second time out in public in a week, it definitely seems like he is actually doing quite well.
Simon Cowell Was Spotted Out In Public Again With Family
Simon strolled in Los Angeles, California with his partner Lauren Silverman and their six-year-old son Eric Cowell. Lauren held hands with another young boy during the family outing, but it was not her son Adam with ex-husband Andrew Silverman.
Simon wore a very similar outfit just like he did for his first outing with his family since breaking his back. He wore a tight grey t-shirt with white shorts and tan slip-on shoes. He also wore a face mask amid the coronavirus pandemic. Simon broke his back about 10 weeks ago and there were conflicting reports about whether or not he was up and walking.
“He showed no signs of illness or fatigue,” a spectator told The Sun. “It’s hard to believe he was on an operating table just weeks ago. It’s an incredible recovery. Several fans recognized him and he was waving to them, smiling and saying, ‘Hi.’ “I think they were surprised to see him back on his feet looking so fit and healthy so soon.” You can check out more of the photos from Simon’s day out here.
Previously, Simon fell off of his new electric bike at his Malibu home and broke three vertebrae in his back. The fall was so severe that he had to undergo a six-hour back surgery and have a metal rod placed. We talk about everything that happened in the video below from the surgery to the recovery and who replaced him on the ‘AGT’ judging panel.
Simon Was Out In Public Just A Few Days Ago
Just a few days ago, Simon stepped out for the first time with Lauren and Eric on another little shopping trip. They walked around a shopping center in Malibu where Simon has been spending his recovery.
Simon held a shopping bag from a store called Beauty Collection during this rare public outing. He even flashed some of his fans his signature thumbs-up leading us to believe he is feeling a lot better after his accident. Simon, Eric and Lauren definitely all looked very relaxed during this shopping trip. They recently celebrated his 61st birthday at home after years of having dinners and parties to celebrate.
After his second outing, an onlooker said “He looks fitter than ever. Expect him back on TV soon.”
Could we actually see Simon on our televisions again soon? America’s Got Talent: The Champions will not be premiering in January like it was originally expected, so the chances of Simon popping up on our small screens soon might be hard to say. Both ‘AGT’ and ‘BGT’ have finished airing their seasons so Simon has some more downtime to make a full recovery.
