Simon Cowell Seen For The First Time After Bike Accident And He’s Looking…

Simon Cowell made a rare public outing this weekend as he took a break from keeping a low profile for a family day of shopping. The ‘AGT’ judge has been on the mend from his August bike accident that left him with a broken back. Stepping out with son Eric Cowell and his partner Lauren Silverman is definitely a rare occurrence for Simon as he continues his recovery.
Simon Cowell Stepped Out In Public With Family After Accident
Simon stepped out in Malibu, California at a shopping center with his family. The entertainment mogul wore a grey t-shirt with white shorts and tan slip-on shoes, complete with a face mask amid the coronavirus pandemic. Previously, Simon fell off of his new electric bike at his Malibu home and broke three vertebrae in his back. The fall was so severe that he had to undergo a six-hour back surgery and have a metal rod placed. Is Simon Ready To Get Back To Work Just Yet?
Simon has since been recovering at home and has had a nurse with him at all times. While there were conflicting reports about the extent of Simon’s injuries, it seems now he is finally up and moving again with a little help from physical therapy. A source said he has been taking 10,000 steps a day and swimming to strengthen his back. They also shared that he no longer has to wear a back brace all the time.
Simon held a shopping bag from a store called Beauty Collection during this rare public outing. He even flashed some of his fans his signature thumbs-up leading us to believe he is feeling a lot better after his accident. Simon, Eric and Lauren definitely all looked very relaxed during this shopping trip. They recently celebrated his 61st birthday at home after years of having dinners and parties to celebrate.
Simon’s ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour threw a very laid back birthday celebration for him at home and posted a video of Simon blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. While he missed both ‘AGT’ and ‘BGT’ tapings as he recovered at home, Simon’s public outing is a step in the right direction as everyone wonders if he will heading back to work any time soon.

‘AGT: Champions’ usually airs in January, and there is still no word if the show will be returning just yet. Of course, this also comes with the looming question of whether or not Simon will be returning to the show as well. Everything is still very up in the air, but it’s refreshing to see Simon up and walking and being his usual cheerful self with family.
