Britain’s Got Talent Series 17 returned over the weekend with another round of auditions. During the show, judge Simon Cowell hit the Golden Buzzer for an energetic Japanese dance group called CyberAgent Legit.

Simon Cowell Hits BGT Golden Buzzer for Dance Group

CyberAgent Legit is a dance group from Japan who dances to their own music. For their audition on BGT, the group wore matching red outfits accessorized with silver hair. They brought amazing energy and synchronization to their routine.

All four judges gave the group a standing ovation for the performance. Simon Cowell called them “really, really, really good.” As Bruno Tonioli tried to share his thoughts, the crowd chanted for someone to hit the Golden Buzzer.

Cowell listened to the audience, standing up to hit the Golden Buzzer while Tonioli was still talking. Gold confetti rained onto the stage as the group celebrated the moment. They’ll now go straight to the live Semifinals. One group member told Cowell that it was a “dream come true.”

What Did the Judges Think of the Performance?

“I don’t think we’ve ever had a dance act on this show that makes their own music as well,” judge Alesha Dixon said after the group was done celebrating. “So you are incredible.”

Amanda Holden said she was questioning whether the group members were even human after witnessing what they were able to do on stage as part of their routine. She joked to them, “Welcome to our planet.”

Cowell called the group “the kind of act you want in a competition,” adding that he could tell how much time the dancers had put into their performance. He told them that everyone in the theater was rooting for them.
