According to Harper’s Bazaar, Shakira’s coat dress is from Viktor & Rolf’s Fall 2008 collection, which featured other designs with the word “NO” incorporated into them. The singer sported gold accessories and long straight hair to complete the look.
Shakira sat next to Camila Cabello at the fashion show, and she even shared an Instagram photo of the two of them holding their fingers up and pursing their lips. She also shared a video of herself in the outfit, captioning it, “Yes is overrated.”
Fans had some pretty funny things to say about the singer’s over-the-top look, with Instagram user @sayan.roy123 writing, “I thought at first she [was] carrying a toilet seat on her shoulder.” User @thulioal joked that “NO” is Shakira’s answer to whether she’s putting out a new album.

The Singer Has Been Outspoken Recently
Shakira’s Paris Fashion Week look isn’t the only bold statement she’s made in recent months. She’s also been extremely outspoken about her split from ex-partner Gerard Piqué, both through music and in interviews.
In May, the singer even shaded Piqué during an acceptance speech at Billboard‘s Latin Women in Music gala, saying that “there comes a time in the life of every woman where she no longer depends on someone else to love and accept herself just as she is.”
In her collaboration with Argentine DJ Bizarrap, “BZRP Music Sessions #53,” Shakira also disses Pique’s new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, singing, “I’m too good for you and that’s why you’re with someone just like you.”
