Paris Hilton Says She Wanted to ‘Tell My Truth’ in New Memoir

Paris Hilton has released a book about her life called Paris: The Memoir. She recently stopped by The Tonight Show to chat with Jimmy Fallon about why she decided to put out the new memoir, saying she wanted to “tell my truth.”
Paris Hilton Releases New Memoir About Her Life
Hilton said she was inspired to write a memoir after the release of the 2020 documentary This Is Paris, explaining, “That was the first time that I actually got real and started just thinking about so many things I’d went through in my life. And it was just time, I feel, to tell my truth.”
Fallon pointed out that although the book touches on dark moments in Hilton’s life, there are also lighter details, including the fact that she likes to make prank phone calls. She apparently has a separate phone just for prank calls. As Hilton said, “My mom taught me. She’s the queen of prank calls. She’s so good at it.”
She went on to imitate the voice she does to disguise her identity on the phone, saying, “My name is Phyllis, and I like to smoke the cigs. And I would love to move into your apartment, darling.”

Hilton Is Making Changes in Congress
In her documentary This Is Paris, the former reality star revealed that she had suffered abuse as a teenager at boarding schools such as Provo Canyon School. She has since spoken at the United States Capitol to advocate for the Accountability for Congregate Care Act.
“We’ve changed laws in eight states so far, and all the way in Ireland,” Hilton told Fallon during her recent interview. “And now we’re going back to D.C. in April to introduce our new bill to make this federal.”
Hilton also recently welcomed her first child via surrogate with husband Carter Reum. The baby boy is named Phoenix. Hilton shared in her interview with Fallon that she likes to sing him her song “Stars Are Blind.”
