Shakira Smashes Four Guinness World Records with Her Bizarrap Collab “Music Sessions Vol. 53”

Colombian superstar Shakira has officially made a groundbreaking history with the success of her Bizarrap-produced song “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53.” Impressively, the track has broken four Guinness World Records, making it the most successful Latin song at present.
Shakira Snatches Multiple Historic Titles Amid Success of “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53”
Released back in January 12, “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53” serves as Shakira’s first collaboration with Argentinian DJ Bizarrap. Such electrifying pop record is primarily intended to slam the Latina’s ex, soccer star Gerard Piqué. Interestingly, this turned out to be a phenomenal piece, adding itself to the world records list. On Instagram, Guinness World Records uploaded the duo for the globally acclaimed track.
“Congratulations to @shakira and @bizarrap who have made history with a Latin track that’s topped the charts in a way no song before it ever has,” the caption reads.
The diss track has set the record for the most viewed Latin track on YouTube in 24 hours with 63,000,000. It then became the fastest Latin track to reach 100 million views on YouTube.
While these achievements were big enough, “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53” didn’t stop shocking other platforms. It earned the records for the most streamed Latin track on Spotify in 24 hours with 14,393,342 plays by fans. Furthermore, this number increased to a momentous 80,646,962, also making the song the most streamed Latin track on Spotify in one week.
Guinness World Records Official Adjudicator Michael Empric recently presented Shakira and Bizarrap with their Guinness World Records certificates. This was before the two graced the stage of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the track.
She Secures 10 More Titles on the Billboard Music Charts
Apart from the four Guinness World Records titles, Shakira was also able to seal other 10 titles. These include being first female vocalist to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with a Spanish-language track. She’s also the first female artist to replace herself at No.1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart.
Moreover, the Latin singer currently holds the title of having the most no. 1s on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart by a female artist. “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53” is also peaking on Hot Latin Songs chart, Latin Pop Airplay chart, and Latin Digital Song Sales chart.
Amid the continuous success of “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53,” the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer has a pending trial for tax fraud.
